Your Awakened Nature

Relax into the now to recognize your awakened nature. Observe and feel the moment without giving attention to any opinion. That’s how you know your aware state of being. It is no different from Buddha nature or the stories of known sages that spoke of the power of our internal state.

You are this. There’s nothing else to say, give up, or attain to be in the now. Now is ever-present. Even in thoughts about tomorrow, you’re giving attention to those thoughts in the now. So you’re always here and now, never separate from what is. So ask yourself, why not flow with now?

Life continues to move and evolve whether you’re relaxed or not. But how you experience life differs depending on whether your attention is aligned with the now or if you indulge in conceptual interpretations of your circumstances. When you divide your attention between what is and the interpretation, you will sense internal resistance represented in the form of stress, tension, or fogginess, and you might notice that your life experience tends to embody the state of your interpretations.

Isn’t it interesting how, when we let go of our desperation for a certain need, this exact need eventually begins to flow into our lives? The act of letting go is detaching your attention from the thought, with feeling.

Your attention is always free. You direct it.

How this world works has become less mysterious because we understand through physics that our world emerges from a unified field, and we are therefore connected with everything that appears separate. We also know that consistent meditation practices can reduce cortisol (stress hormone) levels by 25%. That is, if you allocate time to meditate. But you can be in a meditative state during all activities simply by relaxing your attention into the now.

Inquire into the connection between where your attention goes and how your life experiences unfold. Try to understand on a tacit or intuitive level so that it’s not a prescription that you apply for bettering your life experiences.

Being is without needing to do anything. There is always an occurrence, so you’re never not in the flow of life. You’re evolving through existence already. When you connect with what is, you connect and become aware of it. Therefore, the extra effort to make it happen is really just attention to the concept of “you need to make it happen.”

Take a moment, relax your gaze, let your body relax, you are here and now.
